I finally got to watch the second episode of The Mole, which has been mildly entertaining so far. However; upon the conclusion of Monday nights episode in which we saw the ‘lil ole lady fail her test- an ongoing feud between contestants reached an all time high.
Paul, after seeing Liz leave said, “I mean I love Liz I probably would have rather seen some other people on these chairs go home than her. Nicole has been nothing but just like this in my ear every time I think I like her she says something that I don’t and Bobby’s been useless the last couple days we’ve been here.”
Bobby responded with, “You can be competitive in this game and still be classy. Some people are competitive but not very classy.”
In which Paul fired back, “Riding in a wheelbarrow letting a woman push you around is real classy… Psch… Let me tell you.”
That’s when Nicole chimes in with, “I’mma kill you while you sleep.”
Paul replies, “Threatening my life over a game you can’t handle this already.”
That’s when Nicole adds, “I can do it and not leave any forensic evidence.”
“All you are is talk and I’m tired of it,” Paul says to Nicole.
“Okay, well wake up dead,” Nicole says.
The video is posted above, just fast forward to the end of the clip to see it go down. I’m not sure exactly how the producers are going to handle someone threatening someone’s life, especially because I’ve been thinking since the show aired that Nicole was The Mole- mostly because her name is Nicole and that rhymes with The Mole. However; after this happened I don’t quite think she is, not to mention her job is listed as an OBGYN and I don’t think they’d make the mole’s job be something like that- it seems too original.

It’s been about seven years since The Mole graced our television screens and now FINALLY it’s returning tonight on ABC at 10pm. The above pictured douche bag by the name of Jon Kelley is the host.
Not quite sure what else to say other than, ‘Hey The Mole’s on tonight you should watch it.”

Perhaps one of the best reality shows to air in ‘recent’ history has to be The Mole. It ran for two seasons followed by a celebrity version. ABC announced today that they will officially be bringing the series back slated for a spring/summer release. The most likely cause for this event: the ongoing writers strike.
The Mole was such an amazing concept countries such as: Belgium, Australia, Germany, Italy, Polland, The United Kingdom, Sweden and others have their own version of The Mole.
The first season of the show was met with rave reviews and MENSA called it, “the smartest show on television,” however; upon the release of the second season ABC thought it was a smart idea to move the show to a Friday at 8pm time slot. Perhaps the worst time for a show with an 18-24 target audience. Then the wondered why no one was watching.
I had a chance to talk to one of the producers years ago and I asked her why on earth they would move a show like the Mole 2 to a Friday time slot, and then blame the lack of viewers on its eventual cancellation, she told me it was the worst mistake they’ve ever made and that The Mole was Stone-Stanley’s proudest achievement.
The return of The Mole will, unfortunately, feature a dumbed down format because the producers claim the original format was too hard to follow.
Stone said:
“We simplified it to where the people at home can play along… And the quiz will be much shorter than in the past.”
The show wasn’t hard to follow at all so I’m not quite sure what they’re talking about. Unless of course they think we’re retarded. Which, of course, we are.
