Project Runway winner Christian Siriano is getting into some hot-water and being FORCED to apologize by the terrorists over at GLAAD who have wet their high-heels over recent comments by Siriano comparing trannies and drag queens to white-trash, trailer park women.
In an interview with Time Out magazine Siriano said:
“If you think of heterosexuals, they have white-trash women and trailer parks, we have drag queens and trannies. I don’t know if I’m the one who can explain it. It’s, like, drag queens are just there.”
Siriano was previously criticized for his common use of the phrase “hot tranny mess”, which may I clarify: the adjective modifies the word ‘mess’, not ‘tranny’- so it’s actually a hot mess of a tranny not a ‘hot tranny’ that is a mess. Just wanted to clarify on his behalf…
Siriano is now carpet-munching his words and retracting his statement, which just makes him appear to be that much more of a pansy. Siriano said:
“I wish that my words were not taken in that way…”
In what way? Do you mean the… ‘I have no sense of humor and any comment made that’s not positive is derogatory’ way?

Rumors are circulating that Nina Garcia, who has served as the fashion director at Elle magazine since 2000, is no longer working for the magazine.
According to reports Garcia was at work on Friday and by Tuesday was absent from the workplace and didn’t bother to show up to an Elle hosted dinner party in which she was scheduled to attend.
Neither Nina Garcia nor Elle Magazine haver commented on these reports so it’s still a possibility that the ice-princess could be frozen in her igloo where she’s probably currently watching Lifetime.

Despite the fact that Project Runway just won a Peabody Award, the owners of the show Bob and Harvey Weinstein have decided to swap out Bravo for… Lifetime.
The next installment of Project Runway, set to air in November of this year, won’t be airing on Bravo but will instead be airing on Lifetime. What!? Lifetime is for women, not for gay men! This stunning move was intended to reinvigorate the program as well as the Lifetime cable network, except I’m not so sure anyone will watch Project Runway on Lifetime. Who actually watches Lifetime?
However; it seems that NBC (the parent company of Bravo) won’t let their hit show go without a fight. NBC filed a lawsuit in state court accusing the Weinstein’s of violating their rights to the show by making a deal with Lifetime.
The suit states that NBC was to be given a chance to renegotiate any offer by the Weinstein’s to other channels, but wasn’t given this oppurtunity before they completely sold off the rights. NBC released a statement saying:
“NBC Universal has continuing rights related to ‘Project Runway,’ including a right of first refusal to future cycles of the series, which the Weinstein Company unfortunately has refused to honor.”
Well the Weinstein’s can do whatever they want with Project Runway, but I don’t think I’d be able to bear watching one of my favorite shows on one of my least favorite networks. It’s bad enough I have to admit to watching Project Runway and now I’m going to have to admit to watching Lifetime too? I… think… not!

Project Runway somehow came out with a Peabody Award for one of the best entertainment series of the year. The awards haven’t been officially handed out and won’t be until mid-June but the winners were announced by committee prior to the award ceremony. Of ALL the shows on television you give it to Project Runway? Don’t get me wrong, I love me my Proj-Run but… Really? I believe the show hasn’t been the same or lived up to the bar it set the first season of the series. Somehow thinking Christian Siriano could be the front runner for a television show that’s been awarded the prestigious Peabody award just baffles my mind. That would be like my website being awarded the Pulitzer Prize. It just shouldn’t happen.

How tranny-licious! Project Runway 4 winner Christian Siriano was spotted out with his new gay-boyfriend Brad Walsh, the editor of Junk Magazine.

The two appear to be made for each other. Each one’s hair the yin to the other’s yang. For the past couples months or so that Proj Run has been on the air I’ve unable to get a firm grasp of the Siriano’s facial structure. He appears to be more of a cartoon character than a real person. I wonder what he looks like when he first wakes up in the morning and has yet to get his hair-did and his duds-done.

In a recent interview with AfterElton.com Project Runway 4 winner Christian Siriano talked about his idea for a new, better version of Project Runway which he has dubbed Project Britney.
In the interview Siriano attributed the lack of gays in Britney’s life to the reason she’s become so miserable, in order to rememdy that situation Siriano said:
“I said to a producer once that I wanted to do a reality show called Project Britney instead of Project Runway, where I would take Britney for the next six months and I would do hair, makeup, wardrobe every day for her and become her personal staff every day. And then of course I would be, hello, the thanks that everyone has to give for saving Britney, ’cause I would totally save her whole image and - oh my god, it would be flawless.”
Wait… Christian’s gay?
While there’s been no word as to whether or not Britney would actually participate in the program (I doubt she would after her disastrous Chaotic show) there is always hope!

The Project Runway 4 finale was a huge success for Bravo bringing 5.2 million viewers. Last year the finale drew about 3.4 million viewers.
Fun fact: The Project Runway 4 finale was the second most watched show for the night on all of television, falling behind Law & Order.

Well now we know who Posh was ‘gasing about a couple weeks ago when she said she loved a certain male participants collection.
With that being said Christian Siriano is now the fourth person to win Project Runway. I, personally, would have chosen Rami to win based on their collections- well, actually, I’d have chosen Sweet P after seeing her Bryant Park collection but she’s not really an option at this point.
I don’t see how Christian’s collection nabbed him the win, Michael Korrs even said it himself when talking to Posh Spice, saying, “Lets be honest not everyone can wear what you wear.” And it’s true- nice haute coutre garments Christian but if I saw a chick walking down the street wearing…

…I’d probably laugh at her.
There’s a difference between wearing a dress down the runway and wearing a dress down the sidewalk of a major metropolis. You can’t just design for runway. This is the main reason I thought Rami’s collection was more satisfying than Christian’s. Not to mention that Christian is only 21 and he has a world of time to establish himself in the fashion industry. However; the same argument could be used in reverse. Rami is already established and Christian could use this to jump start his career. But I’d be pretty pissed if I was Rami and got beat out by some 21-year-old trick.
With that being said here is a video of Sweet P’s Bryant Park collection:
Here is Chris March’s Bryant Park collection:

For the first time ever the Project Runway judges came to a deadlock and opted for a final 4 this season instead of the usual final 3. I guess they didn’t see any harm in doing so considering the final 5 presented their collections at Bryant Park last week.
The final 5 went to New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art where they acted like it was the first time any of them had set foot inside an art museum.
Ultimately Sweet P was the only casualty of last nights episode as it came down to Rami and Chris. To be honest I was going to be upset if they eliminated Chris under the guise that they’d ’seen it all before’ but decided to keep Rami considering Rami has done nothing but drape fabric over women for the entire season, last nights episode being no exception.
The final four are Christian, Jillian, Rami and Chris. However; the catch is that only three will get to ‘present’ their collections at Bryant Park. Rami and Chris will show their three strongest pieces when they return to New York, it will be then that the judges will decide who the final three will be.

Posh Spice was on hand to judge the final five collections from Bravo’s hit show Project Runway this past week. In an attempt to curb speculation over who the final three are Bravo had the final five Project Runway contestants present full collections at their Bryant Park show.
However; one guy in particular caught the eye of Posh- when the show ended she had this to say about her favorite designer…
“Well, for me personally, there is one designer who is a very clear winner- in my eyes… There is one designer which every single piece I saw come out on this runway is something I would wear myself. He made me smile.”
Upon the realization that she had given away too much about the finale, she corrected her statement saying:
“This designer made me smile…”
Major screw up Posh!
Most reviews from the show I’ve read have hinted at Christian being the tent favorite, with the final three contestants being Rami, Jillian and Christian. Sweet P and Chris March were both criticized for incoherent collections that seemed rush, leading to speculation that they were not finalists.
The two-part Project Runway finale is set to air February 27th and March 5th.
