Judge Daniel Perry sentenced former American Idol star Jessica Sierra to one year in rehab at the Pasadena Recovery Center after she pleaded no contest to charges of disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest and violation of parole.
Coincidentally enough the Pasadena Recovery Center she’s being sentenced to is the same rehab where Doctor Drew Pinksy hosts his new VH1 reality show, “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.”
Perry said:
“I don’t want this to be some steppingstone for her to have a career as a recovering addict…”
It’s sad that we live in a day and age where you can actually be famous for being a recovering drug addict. Thank you Vh1 for exploiting the needs and wants of celebrity drug addicts looking for their last shot at extending their 15 minutes of fame. Also, if the judge was so concerned about her trying to gain exposure out of her rehab stint he should have just sentenced her to a DIFFERENT rehab clinic. Come on, it’s southern California, rehab clinics are more frequent than McDonald’s and STD’s.
Speaking of STD’s, Jessica Sierra also has a sex tape soon to be released and is also expecting a baby. In regards to the father of the baby, Sierra just describes him as “a rapper.”
We are now accepting bets.

And they went…I guess, though I’m not sure. Anyhoo, “Celebrity Rehab” is an upcoming reality show on Vh1 (Jan. 10th), and perhaps to satiate the public need for controversy, two videos were just released onto the internet featuring some Z-list celebrities doing crack or coke or whatever drugs those kids are into these days.
Anyway…here’s one, starring Jeff Conaway, a.k.a. Kenickie from Grease, who will be in the show:

And here’s one of this douche, Seth Bizner from Crazy Town, smoking crack. Yummy!

Aw. Family viewing, definately.
Other people you can expect to see smoking/shooting/snorting/drinking on Celebrity Rehab:
As Buzz[Killed] has reported earlier, Jessica Sierra, Chyna, Andy Dick, Tom Sizemore, are set to also star in the show, which Vh1 has ordered 8 episodes of. Dr. Drew will be there, and according to Variety will be filmed at the Pasadena Recovery Center where Dr. Drew is a doctor. Good times for all!

On Monday former American Idol star, Jessica Sierra agreed to a plea bargain for felony battery and possession of cocaine and by Wednesday she’s become the star of a new reality television show.
Sierra will be featured on the show “Celebrity Rehab with Doctor Drew” which just extends the popularity and fame of the already troubled drug-abusers in Hollywood for the sake of good old fashioned American entertainment. We’ve seen it on Breaking Bonaduce, Shooting Sizemore and in a sense Intervention. “Celebrity Rehab with Doctor Drew” will feature celebrities such as: Chyna, Andy Dick and Tom Sizemore.
Recently, Joe Francis creator of the wildly popular Girls Gone Wild videos was sued by two Florida women accusing Francis of releasing videos of them without their consent, despite the fact the two women both signed consent forms. However; it was believed that since the two girls were intoxicated at the time of signing the forms they were somehow considered to be invalid. As if someone forced the two women to get drunk and sign the form.
If this truly is the case where does the line become drawn when people are doing hardcore drugs on camera and in front of crew members, which only then becomes broadcast on national television? What about the forms they signed saying you can film them in various states of fucked-up-edness? Do those become invalid? How do we know they weren’t high off their ass when they signed the forms to begin with?
How does one go from getting busted for cocaine to appearing on a reality show, which I’m assuming she’s getting paid to do? And then people wonder how cocaine gets glamorized.
Now the only question is: Do I want to become anorexic or a coke head?
