The JabbaWockeez are now Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew (or as we’ll refer to it: RJPABDC) winners. After a week of online voting by me, and other fans, the season finale of RJPABDC saw JabbaWockeez beat out Status Quo for the first ever title of best dance crew.
Prior to the finale, the official press release for the show stated that the RJPABDC website had currently received 28 million votes and over 9 million votes in the first twenty-four hours.
The JabbaWockeez had initially entered the RJPABDC competition with seven members but had recently lost one of their own, Gary Kendall. Kendall lost his battle with pneumonia and meningitis and died on Decemeber 14th, 2007.
Despite this depressing hurdle, the JabbaWockeez persevered and were crowned victorious last night.
GO JABBA! We love you.

I can’t stop watching Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew and I definitely think that Status Quo should have been gone this week and the final two SHOULD HAVE BEEN Kaba Modern and the Jabbawockeez. I’m still quite at a loss for how Status Quo took the top spot- especially when dragging around all that dead weight (aka. Jamal).
There are some things I want to note about the series:
I’m definitely pulling for the Jabbawockeez to win, they deserve it. Their choreography has been so completely on point every show. What I do know is that I don’t want any of it to be over…
