Big Brother axed contestant Amanda recently did a live chat and finally revealed the reason why Neil had to leave the Big Brother house and after all this time, I had it right from the beginning.

Back on February 20th I wrote:

I’ve heard a couple rumors as to why he was removed- but nothing has been either confirmed or denied. One rumor had been that his sister was one of the victims of the Northern Illinois University shooting. When I looked into this it seemed to prove false. While their was a Catalina Garcia who was slain in the massacre, I have yet to find any connection between the two besides their last name. In reports of her death they refer to her family including her siblings, none of which are named Neil. I’m just lead to believe, until I hear otherwise, that this is just internet gossip.

Turns out this IS the reason he left, although I did get the details wrong. Catalina Garcia is Neil’s cousin, not his sister. So, those foul-mouthed rumors (especially the one’s from Evel Dick claiming he left because he had gonorrhea) are wrong. How does that make you feel now?
